TestGorilla makes Sifted’s inaugural Europe’s rising 100 B2B list

TestGorilla is excited to have been named in Sifted’s Europe’s rising 100, the first-ever annual ranking of 100 venture capital (VC)-backed, business-to-business (B2B) companies to be compiled using a data-based methodology. 

Sifted partnered with Sapphire Ventures, an enterprise VC firm that invests in high-growth, expansion-stage tech, for the report. Although reports like this tend to focus on unicorn companies, this one focuses on emerging companies – those identified as being on the rise. The accolade comes after TestGorilla raised $70m in Series A funding to help businesses eliminate hiring bias.

Finalists are chosen on factors including market potential, investor profile, competitive landscape, team strength, and tech innovation. The final 100 are selected from a list of 250 companies. A judging panel scores them on three criteria: market opportunity, market differentiation, and momentum. 

The report comes at a time when market conditions are changing rapidly. It’s a difficult time for startups, so we’re delighted to be included in a list that recognizes companies that are building sustainably, with a clear vision and a mission to deliver on their values and culture. As the report’s foreword notes, it’s no longer about growing at all costs.

In a market with less overall funding, distractions and much of the noise can disappear. Some of the greatest companies have been started and built during major economic downturns.
