ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a remote contract role for a Media Director (UK Remote). The Media Director will serve as a pivotal figure in our organisation, playing a crucial role in business relationship management, account management, consulting, team leadership, and sales strategy execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Relationship Management:

  • Establish and nurture long-term relationships with key clients, acting as the primary point of contact.

  • Ensure client satisfaction by understanding their business needs and aligning our services to meet these requirements.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor, providing strategic insights and guidance to enhance client business outcomes.

Account Management:

  • Oversee a portfolio of client accounts, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services and maintaining the highest standards of client care.

  • Monitor account performance, conducting regular reviews and reporting on key metrics.

Consulting Services:

  • Lead consulting engagements, including media agency pitch management and auditing services.

  • Provide expert advice and actionable recommendations to clients to optimize their media strategies.

  • Stay abreast of industry trends and innovations to deliver cutting-edge solutions.

Team Management:

  • Manage and mentor a team of professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture.

  • Allocate resources effectively to ensure project deadlines and client expectations are met.

  • Drive professional development within the team, ensuring continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.

Sales and Business Development:

  • Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to expand our client base.

  • Lead sales pitches and proposals, leveraging deep industry knowledge to win new contracts.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop innovative service offerings that meet market demand.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least 10+ years of experience in advertising media, preferably from a media agency or media auditor background

  • Skilled in effective client and team management

  • Strong project management skills

  • Ability to manage media auditing, media pitch, and media tracking projects

  • Proficient with both offline and online media

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment

  • Self-motivated, creative, and flexible with the ability to perform well under pressure

  • Impeccable written English with strong report writing skills

  • Proven analytical ability, with a sense of curiosity and love of learning

  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills

  • Sharp attention to detail

  • Ability to work on own initiative and manage multiple projects

  • Can relate to Abintus core values

NICE TO HAVE, BUT NOT A MUST

  • Experience in coordinating global media agency pitches

  • Foreign language skills, preferably major European
