This is a remote contract role for a Media Director (UK Remote). The Media Director will serve as a pivotal figure in our organisation, playing a crucial role in business relationship management, account management, consulting, team leadership, and sales strategy execution.
Business Relationship Management:
Establish and nurture long-term relationships with key clients, acting as the primary point of contact.
Ensure client satisfaction by understanding their business needs and aligning our services to meet these requirements.
Serve as a trusted advisor, providing strategic insights and guidance to enhance client business outcomes.
Account Management:
Oversee a portfolio of client accounts, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services and maintaining the highest standards of client care.
Monitor account performance, conducting regular reviews and reporting on key metrics.
Consulting Services:
Lead consulting engagements, including media agency pitch management and auditing services.
Provide expert advice and actionable recommendations to clients to optimize their media strategies.
Stay abreast of industry trends and innovations to deliver cutting-edge solutions.
Team Management:
Manage and mentor a team of professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture.
Allocate resources effectively to ensure project deadlines and client expectations are met.
Drive professional development within the team, ensuring continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
Sales and Business Development:
Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to expand our client base.
Lead sales pitches and proposals, leveraging deep industry knowledge to win new contracts.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop innovative service offerings that meet market demand.
At least 10+ years of experience in advertising media, preferably from a media agency or media auditor background
Skilled in effective client and team management
Strong project management skills
Ability to manage media auditing, media pitch, and media tracking projects
Proficient with both offline and online media
Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
Self-motivated, creative, and flexible with the ability to perform well under pressure
Impeccable written English with strong report writing skills
Proven analytical ability, with a sense of curiosity and love of learning
Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
Sharp attention to detail
Ability to work on own initiative and manage multiple projects

Foreign language skills, preferably major European
