Our CEO is at the forefront of driving innovation and excellence in our field, and we are looking for a highly skilled and proactive HR Specialist/Executive Personal Assistant to support them in their daily activities and strategic initiatives.

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented, pro-active and solution driven Finance Specialist to join our dynamic e-commerce brand. The Finance Specialist will be responsible for managing financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis to support the company's growth and profitability. This role requires a strong understanding of e-commerce financials and the ability to provide actionable insights to drive business decisions. The Finance Specialist will use their financial management knowledge to perform interpretations on cost analysis, budget reports and will evaluate the businesses current cash flow position. The Financial Specialist will manage all facets of Finance including but not limited to: Processing of payroll, Budgeting, Forecasting, Expense Management, Cash Flow Monitoring and Internal Reporting.

About You

To excel in this role, you need:

  • Proven work experience as an Accountant, Bookkeeper, Financial Specialist, Financial Analyst or a relevant role ( Minimum of 2-3 years)

  • Understanding of financial and accounting principles as well as computing financial statements including the P&L, Cashflow Forecasting,Expense capturing, budgeting and other internal reports.

  • Strong Google Sheets / Excel experience working with large sets of data and computing formular’s

  • Brownie points: experience /knowledge of e-commerce platforms such as Amazon & Shopify and software tools such as Seller Legend, Sellerise and Xero

Skillset

  • Ability to analyze e-commerce market trends and provide data-based advice and interpretations

  • Attention to detail and meticulousness in managing financial records and ensuring accuracy.

  • Ability to analyze complex data and provide actionable insights.

  • Capable of thinking long-term and aligning financial strategies with the businesses goals.

  • Strong verbal, presentation and written communication skills to articulate financial information clearly

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

What are you expected to do:

  • Analyze financial data to interpret the company’s financial status as well as provide solutions.

  • Develop financial models and recommend corrective financial action plans

  • Create forecast models based on current and past financial result

  • Provide financial management services including investment advice or new projects, financial planning and risk management.

  • Perform a range of bookkeeping activities, including processing payments, managing bank transactions, allocating costs, filing of documents and maintaining other financial records

  • Develop, implement and review fiscal policies including but not limited to: Periodic and

  • Annual Financial Statements, Schedules and Reports)

  • Keeping up with the industry news, trends and opportunities relating to E-commerce

  • Ensuring compliance with Industry standards and rules

  • Generate ad-hoc financial reports to support business decisions.
