Associate Attorney for Federal Consumer Litigation

Associate Position: Federal Consumer Litigation (federal litigation and/or clerkship experience preferred)

Job Description

• The Firm seeks an associate attorney to join our busy and growing federal consumer law practice.

• We represent consumers harmed by inaccurate credit reporting and other consumer reports such as erroneous housing and employment background checks.

• We enforce consumers’ federal Fair Credit Reporting Act rights through litigation in the federal courts.

• In all consumer cases, we have the privilege to represent consumers seeking justice against corporations, often involving complex issues and sophisticated parties.

• This position offers an opportunity to build a career within a dynamic, niche litigation field, namely federal consumer litigation.

• The associate will enjoy substantial responsibility and gain in-the-trenches federal and state litigation experience, beginning by assisting the firm founder in litigation, and with time and experience, becoming the lead attorney. Seeking

• a professionally-minded, diligent, excited-to-learn, confident attorney to assist in substantive legal work (research, drafting, depositions, court and mediation proceedings), client intake, and other aspects of law firm operations.

Compensation

• Base salary of at least $75,000
