Email Marketer/Content Creator Role

About the Role:

We’re looking for a skilled Email Marketer/Content Creator with exceptional writing abilities and experience using email marketing tools like Mailchimp or similar to join our team. This role requires a strategic thinker who can craft compelling content, optimise for search engines, and execute email campaigns that drive engagement and conversions.

The right candidate will bring skills that complement our existing team, adding new perspectives and expertise while working collaboratively. Additionally, you must be highly proficient in both written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate ideas clearly and persuasively. A significant part of this role will involve writing and managing blogs and newsletters, ensuring they are engaging, informative, and aligned with our brand’s voice.

Key Responsibilities:

Email Marketing & Newsletters:

  • Develop and execute engaging email marketing campaigns and newsletters.

  • Write persuasive and conversion-focused email and newsletter copy.

  • Personalise and segment email lists for targeted messaging.

  • Optimise email and newsletter performance through A/B testing and analytics.

  • Ensure newsletters are engaging, visually appealing, and provide value to subscribers.

Content Creation & Blogs:

  • Write and edit high-quality blogs and website content that engage our audience and support SEO goals.

  • Research industry trends to produce insightful and authoritative blog content.

  • Develop and manage a blog and newsletter content calendar to ensure regular publishing.

  • Repurpose blog content for newsletters, social media, and other marketing channels.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Exceptional Writing & Editing Skills: Ability to craft clear, engaging, and persuasive copy for blogs, newsletters, and marketing materials with flawless grammar.

  • Highly Proficient in English: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt tone and style for different audiences.

  • Email Marketing Expertise: Experience with platforms like Mailchimp, HubSpot, or Klaviyo.

  • Content Strategy: Ability to plan and execute a consistent blog and newsletter strategy.

  • Project Management: Strong organisational skills to manage multiple content and email campaigns simultaneously.

  • Complementary Skills: Ability to bring fresh perspectives and expertise that enhance the capabilities of our existing team.

  • Collaboration & Communication: Experience working with designers, developers, and marketing teams.

Projects You Might Work On:

  • Writing and launching an automated email nurture sequence to engage leads.

  • Creating high-quality blog content optimised for search engines.

  • Writing and managing regular newsletters to keep our audience informed and engaged.

  • Running A/B tests on email subject lines, blog headlines, and landing page copy.

  • Collaborating with colleagues on a content-driven marketing campaign.

  • Developing and maintaining a content calendar for blogs and newsletters.

Minimum Infrastructure Requirements

  • Internet speed: Minimum 30 Mbps.

  • Computer: Minimum Windows 10 with 8 GB RAM.

Job Type: Fixed-term contract

Contract length: 6 months - will be renewed with Performance Review result

Pay: starting from £350-£500 GBP

Starting salary offered based on experience at induction. Reviewed after a 3-month trial period based on performance.
