The Role

As our UX/UI Designer, you will play a crucial role in crafting exceptional user experiences that make learning engaging and effortless. You'll work closely with our sales, support and social media teams to design and implement intuitive interfaces that enhance our platform's usability and appeal.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create user-centered designs by understanding business requirements, and user feedback

  • Design user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups

  • Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback to inform design decisions

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and experience

  • Develop and maintain design systems to ensure consistency across the platform

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest UX trends, technologies, and industry best practices

Requirements

  • Proven work experience as a UX/UI Designer, preferably in the e-learning or EdTech sector

  • Strong portfolio of design projects demonstrating your process and high-quality outcomes

  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar

  • Excellent understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, remote environment

  • Excellent communication skills with fluency in English (both written and spoken)

  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience)

Nice to Have

  • Experience with front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)

  • Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design principles

  • Familiarity with agile methodologies

  • Social media /marketing experience

  • Graphic design and or creative skills

  • Minimum Infrastructure Requirements

  • Internet speed: Minimum 30 Mbps.

  • Computer: Minimum Windows 10 with 8 GB RAM.

Job Type: Fixed-term contract

Contract length: 6 months - will be renewed with Performance Review result

Pay: £3,000.00-£4,650.00 per year

Starting salary offered based on experience at induction. Reviewed after a 3 month trial period based on performance.

Schedule:

8 hour pre arranged working to UKGMT to be deiceded (including one hour break) Monday to Friday

Computer Science degree or relevant experience
