SALT.agency is seeking an experienced and motivated SEO Lead to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll oversee strategic and technical SEO campaigns for high-value clients, lead a talented team, and contribute to business growth and innovation.As an SEO Lead at SALT.agency, you will plan, execute, and manage high-impact SEO growth campaigns for a portfolio of high-value clients. Combining strategic insight with leadership skills, you will uphold quality standards, mentor team members, and drive innovation to deliver measurable results. You will also be critical in aligning team efforts with business objectives, contributing to recruitment, business development, and operational efficiency while fostering a high-performing, client-focused culture.
Directly manage up to five client accounts (up to an agreed figure in revenue), ensuring the timely delivery of exceptional SEO campaigns.
Oversee and support up to 10 accounts in total, providing strategic direction and technical expertise.
Build and maintain long-standing client relationships, serving as a trusted stakeholder and ensuring alignment with business goals.
Mentor and coach team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
Provide structured feedback to improve the quality of deliverables and upskill team members in strategic and technical SEO.
Lead training sessions and support learning and development initiatives for junior and mid-level SEO specialists.
Develop and present SEO roadmaps, integrating technical and strategic components to meet client KPIs.
Lead the execution of international SEO campaigns, migrations, and local SEO strategies, adapting approaches to diverse industries such as SaaS, eCommerce, and Travel.
Contribute to process improvements by developing and refining frameworks and workflows to enhance scalability and quality.
Drive internal R&D initiatives, identifying and implementing emerging trends and tools in SEO to maintain a competitive edge.
Participate in discovery processes and develop proposals for new clients, aligning SEO strategies with their business goals.
Identify opportunities for account growth, including upselling and cross-selling services.
Support recruitment efforts, onboarding, and employee retention plans to attract and retain top talent in the industry.
A minimum of six years of SEO experience, including significant time managing client accounts and leading teams.
Proven track record in delivering strategic and technical SEO campaigns that drive measurable results.
Expertise in advanced SEO concepts, including algorithm updates, Core Web Vitals, schema optimization, and international SEO.
Proficient in tools such as Screaming Frog, Sitebulb, GA4, Looker Studio, Ahrefs, and Google Search Console.
Strong understanding of business models, industry dynamics, and aligning SEO strategies with commercial objectives.
Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with experience mentoring and managing teams.
Proactive and detail-oriented, with a passion for fostering collaboration and driving continuous improvement.
