ESL instructor
Responsibilities
Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality ESL lessons tailored to students' needs and proficiency levels. Develop and implement lesson plans that align with CEFR standards and communicative teaching methodologies.
Incorporate diverse teaching techniques, including TBLT, role plays, and multimedia resources.
Assess and monitor student progress through regular evaluations, assignments, and feedback.
Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and development.
Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment to promote student engagement.
Provide personalized coaching and support to students when necessary.
Participate in professional development sessions, workshops, and curriculum updates.
Collaborate with the academic team on student placement and assessment strategies.
Ensure adherence to institutional academic policies and guidelines.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field (Master's preferred).
TEFL, TESOL, or CELTA certification (required).
Proven experience teaching ESL to diverse age groups and proficiency levels.
Familiarity with CEFR guidelines and assessment techniques.
Excellent communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
Ability to create interactive, student-centered lesson plans.
Proficiency in digital teaching tools and virtual classroom platforms.
